CareJet is set to begin sales of a new air ambulance Membership Plan called MyLife. For the cost of the plan, critically ill or injured members will have access to air medical transportation in a medically configured jet to the nearest facility capable of treating their condition, whether in Manila, Tokyo, Taiwan, or Hong Kong.

CareJet has signed an agreement to provide humanitarian response to the Federated States of Micronesia and the Republic of the Marshall Islands in the event of natural disaster. The signing falls under the region’s “Disaster Mitigation, Relief and Reconstruction Project” jointly overseen by the Office of U.S. Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA) and the International Organization of Migration (IOM).

CareJet instructors have been assisting the GFD personnel to help them obtain a Pediatric Education for Prehospital Professionals Certification, which will mark the first team on the island. CareJet program director Marc Decoste says the company provided the training free of charge as a win-win for everyone on the island.

Aviation Concepts Inc., operator of CareJet air ambulance service, this week took delivery of a Westwind II twin-engine jet at its base facility at A.B. Won Pat Guam International Airport. The service is slated to begin as early as Nov. 1, 2007. It will be the first time that a non-military air ambulance is based on Guam.
Based in Guam and the Philippines, CareJet is strategically positioned to serve both Southeast Asia and the isolated islands of the Western Pacific.
